On the occasion of International Women’s Day celebrated on March 8, journalist Adish Phinorah of Arua One FM radio in Arua Province, Uganda, extended her heartfelt wishes to Ugandan women and women around the world.
Contacted by Flashnews.cd, the journalist wished all women a happy Women’s Month, emphasizing that the period should not only be dedicated to celebration but also to reflection and commitment toward building stronger families, communities, and nations.
She noted that the future and development of the world also depend on the contribution of women, particularly through their leadership, determination, courage, and active involvement in all sectors of national life.
According to her, the celebration of March 8 should serve as an opportunity to highlight women’s efforts and encourage their greater participation in the transformation and development of societies.
“Happy Women’s Month to all women around the world. Together, let us continue building,” she concluded.
